Carl

Carl Hardin, MBA, is a finance and systems executive with the Detroit Wayne Mental Health Authority (DWMHA). He has worked in the areas of finance and business computer systems for more than 35 years, in areas including systems planning, system implementations, systems administration, systems training and financial management. He also serves on DWMHA’s Suicide Prevention Coalition, working to increase awareness of this epidemic throughout our community.

Carl has long been active in the Detroit community, serving on several boards including the Northstar Community Development Corporation and Your Heritage House Museum and Arts Center for Youth. He also has served as a boy scout leader and track coach for the youth at Herlong Cathedral School in Detroit.

Mr. Hardin was born and raised in Detroit, where he was an honor student at Cass Technical High school. He was a dual degree recipient at the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science degree in both Mathematics and Computer and Communication Science. He also earned a Master’s in Business Administration degree with honors at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
